Chicago Pride Parade

Chi Chapter has been participating in the annual Chicago Pride Parade with the Chicago Gender Society (CGS) for a number of years.
Unfortunately the parade was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
The parade is now scheduled to be on June 26, 2022.
Hopefully the parade will happen then and Chi Chapter and CGS will have a float in it.
In previous years Chi Chapter members could choose to either ride on the float or walk along next to it.
Both are experiences that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
There is nothing like being in a parade with about a million cheering people along the route.
Chi Chapter also marched in the Buffalo Grove Pride Parade in 2019.
That was also a great experience being up close and personal with enthusiastic people lining the route.
Previously it had been scheduled to be on the first Sunday in June.
